Dr Sophie Monaghan is an experienced, QiCN-registered neuropsychologist who prides herself on offering the best service to clients with brain injuries, dementia, and those suffering from many types of neurological changes. She is also able to work with the system, from the families to the care, therapy and legal teams.
A specialist across adulthood, with focus on difficulties such as neuropsychological needs, rehabilitation and risk as well as loss, injury or illness adjustment, trauma, Sophie is well suited to the type of work that serious and catastrophically injured clients require. Additionally, due to her mental health experience she can work with complex presentations where clients have severe and enduring mental health difficulties such as personality disorders, psychotic disorders and bipolar disorder.
Sophie has an explorative and reflective style that draws from a range of psychological approaches including cognitive models, third wave approaches, trauma and neuropsychology.
