Dr Emma Donkersley is a passionate and caring clinician who prides herself on offering the best service to clients suffering a brain injury and/or distressing life events, their families and the professional network.

A specialist across adulthood, with focus on difficulties such as loss, injury or illness adjustment, trauma, neuropsychological needs, rehabilitation and risk, Emma is well suited to the type of work that serious and catastrophically injured clients require. Additionally, due to her mental health experience she can work with complex presentations where clients have severe and enduring mental health difficulties such as personality disorders, psychotic disorders and bipolar disorder.

Emma has an eclectic and reflective style that draws from a range of psychological approaches including cognitive models, third wave approaches, trauma and neuropsychology. Her holistic approach ensures she considers all aspects of a person’s life and can formulate comprehensive treatment plans that benefit our clients, their families and care teams.
